New Video: Coldplay - High Speed

Sorry not posting sooner, I was a bit busy during the last month with exams and whatnot. I've made a new video though and have started a few builds in Minecraft that I'll post within the coming week. Any way here's the video, tell me what you think:

New Video: Deadmau5 - Careless (acoustic)

I was on Pond5 and found a load of really nice clips that I could use, so naturally I downloaded them then added some music. I couldn't get rid of the watermark though but other than that, they're really good clips to download. But anyway here's the video.

Good sites to check out

  • I was browsing about the Internet, as one usually ends up doing, and stumbled upon "Stumbleupon" which is a brilliant site. All you do is, if you sign up, you just choose your interest from a list and and click "stumble" and it will take you to a random website that is generally really interesting. For example: I quite enjoy the science of body language and so it took me to a site with an article about how to read body language in great detail. In short; just check it out it's fantastic.
  • Another site which I find really useful and now go on regularly is Visionary Gateway. It's a forum mainly targeted for creativity, for example: Film, T.V, Music Architecture, Design, etc. The other members of the forum are really engaging and will answer any questions you have quickly and in depth. Basically if you'd like to find some other creative people out there, get into a unique new world then just click away.
  • I started to run out of video clips to edit so, as per usual, I turned to the internet. The internet then turn me to a lovely and immensely resourceful site pond5. It's go shed load of small clips on everything that you could think of, and is like your own personal Shangri La if your into video editing, and you don't have to pay royalties. They also have a load of sound files and after effects which are equally useful. The only drawback is that you have pay a commission for each video/music clip in order to get rid of the watermark., but then again you could just download it anyway and keep the watermark (it's not that obvious that it's there half the time). Or just do what we all do whenever you find something like that: turn to google/forum. After 10 mins of that you probably got yourself a better site with a smaller watermark, or better yet, without the watermark. Anyway, if your into video editing or just to see some cool clips have a look, tell me what you think.
  • On another note, I should be making some more videos for my youtube channel in the coming week. I'll upload any I make then post them on here anyway, but please comment and tell me your thoughts. I have no idea if what I'm making is brilliant or bull-crap, so let me know what's on your mind.
  • Also, got bored, started plying some FFXII:

New Video: FFAC

Hey guy's, I got really bored the other day and came up with this. I really wanna know what you guy's think so please leave feedback, any comments are welcome. I've kinda run out of vids to use so there might not be any videos for a bit, I'll try and download some more. If you have any suggestion, that'll be great. I was thinking of getting some gameplay clips like: Battlefield 3, Unchatered 3 and other such stuff. Again let me know what you think.

The F.E.B.S.S

The F.E.B.S.S, stands for the French toast, Egg, Bacon, Sausage Sandwich. I don't mean to boast, but me and a friend made these and it was the best breakfast I have ever had in my life. It was greasy, but that's how I like my mini-epic mealtime meals to be. I may have a different recipe to others on how to make french toast, so here's my recipe:

Crack an (medium size preferably)egg into a bowl, add some milk (so there's twice as much egg as there is milk), some pepper and salt, and a tablespoon of sugar (more or less depending on your preference). Whisk these ingredients until the mix starts to form bubbles, soak the bread on both sides in it and fry on a medium heat. One egg can make, on average, 2 pieces of french toast.
Cooking time --- approx. 5 mins

Me and my friend we just sitting around, having nothing to do, so we decided to go down to the shops and see what we could get for under a £5 and this is what we ended up with the photo above.
Cost: £4.35 ----- from Budgen's

Twas nice that we had some chickens floating about to give us the eggs, so that way we had more money to spend on meat.

After we got back from the shops; we got out two frying pans, sausages in one and the eggs, bacon and french toast in the other, using butter instead of oil for flavour. The total cooking time came to about 20-25 mins with  both frying pans being heated on medium heat. Then we ended up with the photo above.

When we put all the stuff we cooked on the plate, it looked a bit plain. We decided to make it into two sandwiches - one each - with both of them looking like the photo above

We thought the pork should stay together, so we wrapped the sausages in the bacon and added a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, on a bed of egg, with a light drizzle of HP sauce, sandwiched between to pieces of french toast. And after all that; Twas epically tasty and filling.

Repairing without a clue

Before I talk about my electrical shenanigan I have to say check out visionarygateway.co.uk it's a good forum site that's new and needs more members, so at least take a look.
I got back home yesterday to find a box in my room with a 5.1 surround sound speaker set. I ask my mum where she got it from, and she told me that it was just lying in the street with a note saying, "take me". I tried out the speakers with no expectations of it to work, but when plugged into my phone, it did play music but very quietly (the kettle boiling in the next room was louder than the music). I decided to have a look inside to see what was the problem and was left looking at this:

I have little knowledge when it comes to electronics so just starred at the different components until I realised that the volume control had broken off, and so I needed to either, reattach the volume control or; find something else to complete the circuit.
I found some of my old guitar strings lying around and saw that the A string was the right size as the holes on the circuit board. After that I simply put 2 and 2 together.
Then seen as I kind of destroyed the speaker case trying to get at the circuit board, I decided to make a new one out of the closes thing I could find. Here's the finished result:
I now have a fully functional speaker set that only cost me and old phone box and a guitar string.

New Videos

Heys guys spent most of last night making some new videos. I used the movies: 300, Steamboy and Step Up 2. I'm kinda running out of movies to use. The ones I've got don't have the kind of scenes that suit the music I have. Anyone got any suggestions as to what and where I can download some more good vids? I think I'll start getting some dance clips of youtube, I dunno, what do you think?
Here is the link to my channel and new vids:

My 300 Running video is blocked in certain countries so your gunna have to got to my channel to view it, but here are the other two I made:

I would love to know what anyone thinks of these, so any constructive comments are welcome

Sword in the Stone

My friend came up with the best metaphor to describe an extremely attractive woman. We were talking about the stunning Zoe Deschanel and how beautiful she was, when my friend turns to us and says, "You know the old English legend of Arthur, where who ever can pull the sword from the stone will be king. Well, anyone who can pull my sword from that stone must be crownded king." We now use that term to describe only the most beautiful women, instead of asking, "would you..?", we know just say, "Sword in the Stone".
